Daihatsu Launches Anniversary Special Edition of Mini Commercial Vehicle Hijet Cargo - Partly Enhanced Mini Commercial Vehicle Hijet Cargo, Deck van and Mini Passenger Vehicle Atrai Wagon -

Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd. will launch simultaneous nationwide sales of the special Gold Edition of the Hijet Cargo from Monday, November 30 to mark the 55th anniversary of the Hijet^*1.

The Hijet Cargo Gold Edition includes the Cruise Turbo, Cruise and Deluxe models.
In appreciation of customers’ patronage, a special anniversary emblem decorated with a dedicated gold^*2 that gives a premium feel and a body with special colors and a stylish appearance have been adopted.

The seats and door trim are black, the periphery of the instrument panel is decorated in silver, and the interior is designed with a chic, high quality feel.
In addition, a three-year warranty for rust on the body surface and a five-year extended warranty for perforated rust on the outer plates of the body are provided. The seat surface is processed with a water repellant coating. The luggage compartment is equipped with an LED lamp^*2, and ABS^*3 is utilized for enhanced safety and ease of use.

Product improvements such as a beauty pack and a larger speaker, which were well received in the Hijet Truck, are installed in the Hijet Cargo, the Deck van and the Atrai Wagon. Furthermore, the Atrai Wagon is available in additional new body colors.
